Music therapy isn't a concert and you don't need to be a musician. It's a clinical modality that uses sound, rhythm, songwriting, and shared listening to help people who process the world through music get to feelings, memories, and skills that talk therapy alone sometimes can't reach.
What sessions look like
We co-design each session around your goals. That might mean curated listening and reflection, songwriting around a specific theme, rhythmic regulation for nervous-system arousal, or instrument-based expression for kids and teens. Sessions are typically in person at our Toledo office; telehealth music sessions are available case-by-case when clinically appropriate.
Provider credentials, board certification (MT-BC), and supervision details will be listed here once our music therapy clinician's profile is published.
